Summary Of Key Stage 2 Performance 2013

Attainment in maths has been rising annually for 4 years and is more than one year ahead of the national average. Attainment in reading and writing is significantly above average and almost two terms ahead of the national average. Grammar, Punctuation and Spelling results are above average.

Overall pupil progress from KS1 to KS2 is borderline outstanding overall, outstanding in maths and good in the literacy areas. The school has maintained a strong progress profile for three years and, in 2013; pupil progress is above average for maths, reading and writing with maths recognised as significantly above national average. The percentile ranking for the school is 11th place with: maths at 8th; reading at 29th and writing at 26th place.

The school has firmly established improvements to pupil attainment with pupils moving from above average prior attainment to significantly above average attainment. The percentage of pupils achieving at L4+ in maths, reading and writing is consistently above the national average and pupil performance exceeds floor standards (65%L4+).
